WELCOME FAMILIES!

I am excited to start my 9^th year ​ as the Music Educator at Amelia Earhart Elementary, though I have had 2 students in the district for many years.  Every day I get to teach K-4 General Music, which includes both instrumental and vocal music. So down the hall you can hear many different things going on in our music room.....from recorders to bucket drums, boomwhackers to xylophones, drums to tambourines, ukuleles to bass guitars and drum sets.  We also do a great deal of moving to music so you are likely to find us dancing with ribbon sticks, keeping the beat with paper plates or showing the musical form with a parachute.  I believe that music should be FUN, EXCITING and lead to a LIFE LONG LOVE OF MUSIC.
