Program Links: (Coming soon – or when programs resume)
As with any youtube video I encourage parents to check out the links first as they can change unexpectedly. I also use the chrome app for adblock so I don’t ever see any ads or next suggested videos on my screen, which makes youtube a much more reliable and safe site (adblock is a chrome extension you can add to your chrome browser).
Here’s a link for students who are improvising on the blues scale to practice with – CLICK HERE
1st Grade: This is just one of many links to Peter and the Wolf on Youtube. Peter and the Wolf has been told many different ways. As your child begins to use their "teacher's guide" (Peter and the Wolf packet) to teach you all they have learned about Peter and the Wolf in class, you can use this link to listen with your child and have them tell you how this version is the same as and different from the one we used in class.
1st and 3rd Grades have been learning about all of the different instruments of the orchestra. Use this link to play games and test your knowledge of all four families of instruments. You will need to create an account on this site, but don't worry, it's free for all.
