Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like to start off by introducing myself. My name is Amanda Green, and I will be your child’s special educational teacher this upcoming school year. I am very excited to meet you as well as your child! You can expect to see me assisting your child with the day- to-day instruction, as well as taking on the full responsibilities of the classroom. In my room we will complete a number of hands-on learning activates, whole group activates, and one-on-one teaching support. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child in the weeks ahead.
Below I have written a short biography about my teaching experience and my personal life.
A little bit about me:
I recently graduated from Sterling College with my Bachelors in Elementary Education and am now currently working on my Master’s degree in Special Education through Pittsburg State. My past career experience includes four years as a para educator for the Goddard school district. My husband, Patrick, and I have been married for six years. Together we have a 7 year old son, Cole and 3 year old twin girls, Aubrey and Madison. In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and taking small family vacations. I have two dogs: Duke is a Jack Russell and Rocko is an English mastiff. An interesting fact about me is not only do I have twins, but I also have a twin brother.
Please feel free if you have any questions or concerns to contact me at by email at agreen@goddardusd.com or by phone at 316-794-4080 ext 52501 Sincerely,
Amanda Green
