We love seeing our students get these awesome experiences — and we’re so thankful for our USD 265 SROs who go above and beyond to stay connected with kids every day!

The Goddard Education Foundation is looking for all the “G’s” out there for our inaugural G-Day event!
This event is for all the “G’s” in our community: Grandparents, Golden-Agers, or anyone who is simply a Grand and Generous person who wants to give back to the next generation of students. We invite you to join us for a morning dedicated to remembering and experiencing all the amazing things that happen in elementary classrooms. This is more than just a volunteer event; it’s a celebration of generations and a chance to forge new relationships.
Goddard Public Schools will be featuring two of our Elementary Schools, Explorer Elementary and Amelia Earhart Elementary, for these Inaugural G-Day events. The dates are:
- Tuesday, October 21st, 2025 from 8:15 am - 12:00 pm at Explorer Elementary School
- Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025 from 8:15 am - 12:00 pm at Amelia Earhart Elementary School
Please share this with a Grandparent, Neighbor, Community Patron, or friend who might enjoy learning more about Goddard Public Schools.
To Register:
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, with that in mind, there are only 20 available G-Day participant spots (10 for each elementary school). Interested G-Day participants can complete the application form by clicking the link below by the end of the day on Monday, October 13, 2025, and a representative from the Goddard Education Foundation will be in touch with you. Any interested G-Day representative must meet all the eligibility requirements (listed in the registration form) to be considered for G-Day.

Mrs. Kitzmann, Mrs. Fender, Mrs. Hajek, Mrs. Archer, and Mrs. Wollard
These superheroes may not wear capes (though they probably should), but they can tie a shoe in record time, open 17 snack packs before the bell rings, and hear a whispered “I need to go potty” from across the room. They are experts at teaching letters, numbers, and how to line up without it looking like rush hour traffic.
Beyond the laughs and snack packs, our kindergarten teachers are laying the foundation for everything that comes after. Kindergarten is where curiosity takes root, friendships begin, and a love for learning starts to grow. Our kindergarten team is truly the heartbeat of our school, and we are so grateful for the joy, patience, and dedication they bring every single day.
Shoutout to our amazing kindergarten teachers – we couldn’t do this without you!

We can’t wait to see those picture-perfect smiles tomorrow

Therapy dogs like Groot and Gabby bring comfort, joy, and calm to our students. They help lower stress, encourage positive social interactions, and create a warm and welcoming school environment. Whether it’s a wagging tail or a gentle nudge, these pups remind us that sometimes the best kind of support has four legs and fur.
What a special way for students to show their appreciation!

Every class in our school has their own unique system for earning small celebrations when expectations are met—it’s a fun way to reward teamwork, responsibility, and positive choices.
How sweet (and delicious) is that?!

Our staff played the “Don’t Get Caught” phone game—where the only rule was to avoid the camera at all costs. Picture teachers running around, ducking down, and pulling off Olympic style moves all to stay off camera.
While it was hilariously fun to watch, the heart of it all is this: team building matters. The stronger we work together, the better we can support each other—and most importantly, give our students the very best every single day
Let’s just say: Mission (mostly) failed, but fun was 100% achieved.

That’s right — our fearless leader, Mrs. Hay, went head-to-head with other principals, flexed those competitive muscles (and possibly their caffeine tolerance), and brought home the gold… well, technically the wood…
Not only do we get bragging rights for eternity (sorry, other schools), but thanks to YOUR support — ordering The Marney and cheering us on — we also earned money towards our PTO! That means more awesome things for our students, teachers, and school.
From the bottom of our cub-loving hearts: THANK YOU to everyone who sipped, supported, and helped us claim victory. The plaque will be on display for all to admire! Be sure to stay posted for the next round of Principal Games, highlighting the Intermediate, and Middle schools! Thank you Iron Nutrition for such a fun week!
Earhart Elementary: now fueled by pride, caffeine, and community spirit.
