The K-9 McConnell Air Force Base visited first grade on Friday September 22. The Military friends shared information on how they train the dogs, their special diet and also demonstrated how the K-9 will attack when commanded. Some fun facts-they do not train the dog to attack a person's face, they will not put the dog in harm's way or release the dog if another dog is involved, and the dog is able to wear dog shoes and goggles for protection.
