On Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, the Kansas State Board of Education (KSBE) officially approved the Goddard USD 265 Bond proposal for a special local election to be held on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025. "The particular presentation from Goddard was probably the most comprehensive that I've heard in the years I've been on this," noted Jim Porter, KSBE District 9 Representative. "They have a strong justification, so I strongly support the recommendation."
The USD 265 Bond Steering Committee will reconvene to outline the next steps in the process. Additional details about the bond proposal will be shared in the coming weeks. All USD 265 District patrons will have the opportunity to cast their vote, collectively shaping the District's future for generations to come.
