In the spring, the school hosted a fundraiser, where students were encouraged to raise money for the School. We are trying to raise money to build an outdoor classroom so classes have the opportunity to spend time outside on nice days. As well has have lunch outside! The competition was friendly but fierce, with many students going above and beyond to collect donations from family, friends, and community members. After weeks of dedication and hard work, the results were in, and the students who raised the most money were announced. As a reward for their efforts, these top fundraisers were granted a special prize—a lunch at Texas Roadhouse with the school principal, Mrs. Hay.
At Texas Roadhouse, the students were treated to a wide variety of mouthwatering food choices. From fresh bread with cinnamon butter to fresh chicken strips and cheeseburgers. The meal was a hit with everyone. Student's sat around the tables and talked and got to know one another - most not even in the same class or grade!
For the students, this lunch became more than just a reward; it was a reminder of how a little effort could make a big difference. The fundraiser not only helped raise much-needed funds for the school, but it also fostered a sense of teamwork and school spirit.
We are so thankful for all of the families who donated to help better our school! We are so lucky to have each and every one of you be part of our Earhart family! Thank you Thank you Thank you for all that you do!!
