At Earhart, caring for others is at the heart of who we are—and our students, families, and staff showed that in a huge way through our Earhart Cares community give-back project. This year, our school proudly partnered with the Kansas Humane Society, and the response was nothing short of incredible.

Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we were able to donate over 1,300 items to support animals in need. Every grade level pitched in, and together we collected a wide variety of supplies that will help care for animals while they wait for their forever homes.

Our donations included:

  • 170 dog toys

  • 500 cat toys

  • 40 bags of catnip

  • 246 packs of dog and cat treats

  • 150 jars of peanut butter

  • 47 applesauce cups

  • 42 cans of spray cheese

  • 28 cans of pumpkin

These items may seem simple, but they play an important role in enrichment, comfort, and care for the animals at the Kansas Humane Society. From toys that provide stimulation to treats that make training and bonding easier, every single donation makes a difference.

We are so proud of our Earhart Cares Team and our entire school community for coming together to support a cause that truly matters. This project was a wonderful reminder that when we work together, even small acts of kindness can have a big impact.

Thank you, Earhart families, for helping us spread compassion beyond our school walls and into our community. KHS donation photo
